Travel Advice & Tips
Norway
This country can be summed up in one word: Expensive. It is a gorgeous place to visit, but be ready to break open that piggy bank. To put it in perspective, a bottle of water can cost you about 7 dollars. Luckily, my trip to Norway was short so it did not break the bank much, and staying in a Hostel definitely helped! During my stay I was in Oslo, which is a port town right on the water. If you like boats, this is the place to be. There are massive sailboats pulling in and out of this port from morning to night, I felt like I was in Pirates of the Caribbean based on the boats style and antique looks. Also, the people are all very tall, so be ready to feel short in comparison. Sadly, I did not get to stay longer in this country, and Oslo is only a very small portion of what there is to see, but If I had the chance to go back and explore further north, I would!
